Meet Kara Boeldt

Licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin, Kara has been in the real estate industry for 22 years. She’s an owner and the Designated Managing Broker for the boutique real estate brokerage, Real Estate Collective, LLC. Prior to opening her own firm, she spent 15 years working within a large brand brokerage as an agent, coach, and then as the Designated Managing Broker for 400+ agents across three locations in Chicago.
As the economist of choice, Kara’s focus in real estate sales is to consult and guide people to make smart investments when buying or selling a home in the greater Chicagoland area. Kara specializes in first-time sellers, experienced sellers, second-home purchases in Chicago and across the world, absentee owners who need additional support in preparing their homes for sale, and buyers. Her goal is to make you feel like you are her only client, no matter your price point. Kara holds the Certified Negotiations Expert designation.
Kara is an Illinois-licensed Pre-License Instructor & Continuing Education Instructor. She teaches Illinois Real Estate Licensing courses for the Chicago Association of Realtors in Chicago and at Oakton Community College in Skokie, IL. In addition to teaching licensing courses, Kara coaches real estate agents and real estate teams. She has earned several brokerage instructor, coaching, and education certifications, has taught hundreds of classes locally and regionally and has coached more than 100 real estate agents and teams to reach their business goals.
Kara is a proud member of the Professional Standards Committee at the Chicago Association of Realtors. As a REALTOR member, she believes strongly in being a good steward of the real estate industry and holding its members to the highest standards for the benefit of the longevity and reputation of the industry, and the public interest. Her volunteer efforts over the past 7 years include ombudsman cases, mediation, arbitration, and ethics disputes, among Realtors and the public. She earned the National Association of Realtors Certified Mediator credential in 2022.
